@efctruth20802@jjb_1970@tonymc39@Everton@EvertonStadium Didn't it come from the pot funded by club and the combined authority like the initial works? The fan queing zone was certainly partially funded by Everton. Point stands that they have technically delivered on the highlighted promise
@jjb_1970@tonymc39@Everton@EvertonStadium They did, they financially contributed to the queuing area and footbridge that have been built. More needs to be done but the station has already been upgraded
@Ajouk@Rob__Friar@pwsimerimiaw Exactly, which is a form of benefit. I think the 'contract' being referred to is the 'social contract' - the expectation that by paying today's pensioners from your NI that you'll get it paid to you in the future. There's no formal contract though
@efctruth20802@Jinkin03John@Chrisgill95 I don't always agree with everything you say but I will say your opinions see past heat of the moment emotion and are more well thought out than some of the nonsense posted on here. Sparks some interesting debate when most people believe conspiracies
@TomBerglund8@Malcolm1818 Nobody has created a pension pot via NI deductions. It never goes in a pot, it pays the current state pension amongst other things, not your future one
@Boo_Boy1@AshJamIng@teddy_moss01@truthisnoword@MSJ_LFC Wembley doesn't have a full roof, it's retractable roof only covers the seats and not the pitch area. It's opened to let more light in but when it's closed it only covers the seating
@efctruth20802@BlueBren I've used it straight after about 15 games since the ground opened. Is it busy? Yes. Does it move relatively efficiently and get me home safe at a reasonable time? Also yes. People are blowing it out of all proportion. Not perfect but not the shit show that's implied
@BlueBren@efctruth20802 If they cover the queuing area against the weather then it'll be fine. I'm sure people expect their own private train to be waiting for them soon as they turn up. Is there a 50k+ ground in the world that you can just get straight home from in 5mins? It's a lot of people to move
@efctruth20802 It does on the whole, there was a struggle last time due to human error coping with unloading a faulty train, they'd let the next batch on to the platform prematurely. When managed effectively it's coping ok, would just like a covered queuing area for the weather
@BlueBren@efctruth20802 For the volume of supporters and the the fact that merseyrail trains are only every 15mins at the best of times is 20mins bad? I think that's decent going personally, the queing area can be improved but the time taken is not unreaosnable
@cp_adams@rjwa1993@henrywinter Why is he on the wane? He's just won save of the season for last season and save of the month last month in the prem. Nothing to suggest his overall performance is dipping and nothing to suggest Henderson or Trafford are better options. 5 clean sheets in 7 so far this season
@JMC239P8@Me90079415@merseyrail Exactly this, I think they just want to get the queues off sandhills lane and into an area easier to control and monitor. Without increasing train frequency, which isn't feasible, I think they are doing as much as they can. It's not perfect but it works better than people admit
@GaryBri99293774@Jeffkopite@fatwap73 He's right that it's chaos for cars and taxis, it is gridlock for normal traffic. He's just pretending the dedicated shuttle buses that can bypass all of the traffic don't exist to try and score a tribal point
@Jeffkopite@fatwap73 They shut off 1 lane down to Leeds St just for the shuttle buses. I wouldn't drive down there myself but the buses can get in and out no problem
@Jeffkopite@fatwap73 What about the dedicated bus lane along Great Howard St where the queue of matchday shuttle buses line up to go to town and Bootle? We just ignoring them and pretending they don't exist? It's the same as at Anfield, Arriva and Stagecoach put shuttles on
