C’etait un privilège d’ouvrir, au nom des agences des nations unies de la sous région, avec le ministre de la sécurité de la République togolaise SE Amb. @CBMadjoulba et Mme @BintaSanneh2 Représentante du @PnudTogo, le Dialogue régional sur le renforcement de l’agenda de prévention dans le Golfe de Guinée qui s’est tenu à Lomé du 3 au 4 juin 2026.

La progression des risques depuis le Sahel, conjuguée à des fragilités structurelles, gouvernance, inégalités, pression sur les services sociaux, exige une réponse renforcée, collective et plus ambitieuse.

Ce dialogue marque une étape importante avec le lancement de la Facilité de Prévention 2026–2029, portée par @UNDPWACA, @UNFPA_WCARO et @Refugees.

Avec les Etats, nous discutons les actions mises en œuvre pour le renforcement de la présence de l’État dans les zones fragiles pour créer plus d’opportunités pour les jeunes, plus de mécanismes locaux de paix, et pour mieux promouvoir le leadership des femmes et coordonner nos efforts au-delà des frontières.

Merci à M. @NTikum, Directeur régional du PNUD pour l’Afrique de l’Ouest et du Centre pour son leadership et son important soutien et aux représentants du HCR, PNUD et UNFPA du Togo, Bénin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire et Ghana pour leur engagement.
