I always say this thing but people just keep arguing nothing concerns jollof rice with basmati. You can use Basmati to make fried rice or just white rice but jollof rice is a big NO.

@aLii_MM_ Basmati though fragrant is usually better for curries, stews and sauces... Jollof and fried rice require a flavour component that comes from the rice itself... Makes using basmati for them have a bit of a "hole" in the flavour ... It's best with Jasmine /Thai Hom Mali rice
