Parker Owens was named EHS “Athlete of the Meet” after a remarkable season that saw him become the youngest individual state champion in Edwardsville boys track & field history. Adding to the accomplishment, Parker went undefeated throughout the entire outdoor season.
Dean Williams competed in the 3A Long Jump prelims but missed advancing to the finals. His season-best mark of 6.78m/22’3” would have placed him among the top 12 finishers in the competition.
Congratulations to the 4x800 relay team on a great season…ended with the second best time in school history!

The 4x400 relay capped off the day with a season-best performance, climbing seven spots from 33rd to 24th place. With all four runners returning next season, the future looks bright for this talented group.
Cooper Wittek closed out his career with a strong performance, running just off his season best and moving up from 24th entering the meet to place 18th in the 1600m run.
