Father John A. Perricone on Muslims and Islam:
"I first want to say what Aquinas were to say, we have to love them. They're made in the image and likeness of God.
We have to hate their pernicious error. And not for one moment allow sentimentality to enter into that charity, that caritas.
Yes, we love them because they are made in the image and likeness of God, but that love means that we what we must give them is the truth. St. Thomas says the greatest exercise of holy charity is to tell men the truth. ...
Certainly, recognizing that where there is error, we have to identify it and we have to fight against it. And we have to martial every argument to protect Catholics from it. ...
The teaching, the suggestion is that they are just as good as we are, and they are not. And Catholics should not be afraid of saying they are a false religion. And if they need any more proof, look at the scorching critique that St. Thomas gives of Mohammedism."
I've been working on a very unique expriment, adapting my graphic novel that's sold more than $50,000 into a full length sci-fi novel.
It's out today, and I'd love for you to check out OVERMIND and see why so many people love this series!
On Amazon now!
Matt Walsh reacts to a race-swapped Betty Boop in an upcoming film:
"There is only one reason to bring back an iconic piece of Americana just to race swap it like this. Even a faithful Betty Boop reboot probably wouldn't sell many tickets. A race swapped Betty Boop has absolutely no chance of success. But they do it anyway out of spite. They aren't even trying to make money. It's just pure resentment."
Are you sick of these anti-white racist films coming from Hollywood?
The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke, on writing the final season as an anti-Trump allegory and watching reality overtake his fiction:
"It sounds super naive now, but I swear the plan was, 'Let's write a 1984 version of what creeping authoritarianism looks like in America,' and maybe everyone will be like, 'Whew, we really dodged a bullet.' But instead, we got hit with the bullet."
Trump won a second term in a landslide, the economy is booming, and
a TV showrunner is calling it a bullet. Who is actually out of touch here?
The Boys series finale introduced Gunter Van Ellis: world's richest man, 17 children, amateur astronaut, talks about white fertility rates, wears a "We Believe In Homelander" hat.
Homelander took him to space.
Elon Musk replied to a post about the scene with one word: "Pathetic."
Showrunner Eric Kripke quote-tweeted Musk's response and posted: "I'll never get a better review ever."
Kripke confirmed Homelander was modeled on Trump, and it was obvious this new character was modeled on Musk.
Did The Boys end as a superhero show or a political broadcast?
Peter Jackson laments the death of physical media:
“You can get Blu-rays and DVDs, but they’re almost a niche product for aficionados now,” Jackson said. “Since they only sell small numbers, no studio wants to put extended features on them or to extend the cuts. We did hours and hours of behind-the-scenes material for The Lord of the Rings DVDs, and so many people have thanked me for doing them. People would watch that stuff over and over again because it inspired them to make films. That’s all gone now, and I think it’s a real shame.”
Do you still get real books and DVDs?
The DOJ announced Monday that Arcadia, California Mayor Eileen Wang, a Democrat, agreed to plead guilty to acting as an illegal agent of the People's Republic of China. Wang and her then-fiancé ran a website that posed as local news for Chinese Americans while posting propaganda at the direction of PRC government officials. Court documents show Wang communicated directly with a senior PRC intelligence official who had personally met with Xi Jinping.
Her fiancé, now serving four years in federal prison, orchestrated a team at Beijing's direction to get Wang elected to the city council. She faces up to 10 years in prison and has resigned. FBI Director Kash Patel: "Mayor Wang admitted to acting as a foreign agent from at least 2020 through 2022 — promoting PRC propaganda in the U.S. and acting at PRC's direction to promote their interests." A Democrat mayor whose campaign was organized by a Chinese Communist Party operative, who posted propaganda for Beijing and replied "Thank you leader" on WeChat. Trump meets Xi in nine days. How many more local officials in Chinese American communities across America are running the same operation?
We are nearly 24 hours into Mark Hamill posting "If Only," calling for the death of President Trump on Bluesky.
The post is still there. Bluesky has not moderated it. Hamill shows no signs of apology.
Why is this allowed?
