My newest track #PrayForMySoul comes out this week, but first here’s a little story about this one..

I had a final version of this song turned in months ago with a video shot and everything .. across the board almost every friend and member of my team said it was their favorite track I’d ever made (which is crazy considering how many songs I have in the catalogue)

Last week my producer @JPONDATRACK called me and said the verses could be better.. more impactful to be specific.

I told him how complicated it would be to rewrite, re-record, re-mix/master, and re-shoot the video shots if we did that (and still manage to get the song out the following week)

He said ok, but is it possible? It was. Barely, but it was.

I spent all last week scrambling to make it happen, and now I can honestly say that JP was right.

This song transcends anything I’ve done thus far musically. It’s very experimental and vulnerable, and hopefully y’all like it as much as everyone else I’ve showed it to.

And also, thank you JP for challenging me and pushing me to be great. Love you bro.

Is it my best song? I guess we’ll see what y’all think this #WebbyWednesday 🙏🏻
