Possibly due to his outstanding warrants, the driver of this homemade go cart attempted to flee from police at an incredibly low speed. Luckily, his wheel got stuck in gravel, and an arrest was made, before any red shells or banana peels had to be deployed. #transitpolice

On Tuesday, Constable Sapeta took a report of a bike that was stolen from Royal Oak Station. On Wednesday, he recognizes the stolen bike while on patrol at New Westminster Station. Bike returned to owner, investigation ongoing. If only all crimes were so easy to solve.
We are saddened by the passing of Chief Rhonda Larrabee of the Qayqayt First Nation. Her wisdom and guidance will be missed, as will her steadfast support of the Blue Eagle program. We are sending condolences to her loved ones. The impact she made will not be soon forgotten.
