@MARTAtransit@MARTAservice With Better Breeze how can someone paying with cash receive their transfers if they are not allowed to load cash value on their breeze card on the bus?
Tomorrow will I still be able to load cash on my old breeze card on the bus?
I wonder how often the members of this advisory group rely on MARTA for transportation. My guess is never, but I'd love to be surprised.

This is sickening to hear. Seeing a MARTA employee shouldn't be a rare encounter. It should be the norm. I think having visible staff in all stations would make someone think twice about committing a violent assault like this. https://t.co/xNDetl448p
@atl311@ATLdistrict1 What is the plan for this incomplete bike lane on Courtland Street? This lane has been closed for almost 2 years and there is no signage or indication that this is for bikes.
Simply the perception of danger is enough to scare a well intentioned rider from using public transit.
MARTA needs to add more visible employees in their stations especially at night. Even start an ambassador program like LA has done. This can't be rocket science.
Anecdotal, but...
My wife and I rode @MARTAtransit on Friday to go to the airport
She’ll be flying back earlier than I will because I’m staying longer for a work conference
It was her first time on the train
Then this video came out
She is now refusing to ride back on it alone
Now she's going to Uber back to the local station to pick up her car when she flies back tomorrow instead of the train
Crazy times we live in 🤦🏼♂️
@herveybuckley1@ATLDOT@ATL311@MidtownATL@GeorgiaTech Actually from what I observed they were not directing traffic at all. One officer was educating cyclists on stopping at red light. Not addressing the real issue, either send an officer out to direct traffic at peak times or fix the signal.
Someone please turn on the traffic light at 5th and Williams Street. This is a danger to students at Georgia Tech who need to use the diagonal bike lane and crosswalks. This has been out for weeks despite being on earlier in the summer. @ATLDOT@ATL311@MidtownATL@GeorgiaTech
When people who profit from gentrification get to decide our transit policies...
"As the Eastside Trail became more popular, resistance from business owners and rail opponents to building a light-rail line that was supposed to start there has increased."

@atl311@AlexWanforATL I reported this earlier in the week. Could the contractor not provide any sidewalk space like in other parts of the city? Is it reasonable to make people cross this dangerous intersection (Monroe and Kanuga) with no light? Especially near the Beltline.

@barely_th3re I remember a GSU bus driver saying that they used to work for Marta and then changed jobs cause they pay more and they don't have to deal with abusive customers.
