At least 350 transgender and gender-nonconforming people have been killed globally in 2020 — the vast majority trans women of color.

The U.S. death toll is at least 37, the worst year on record. Most were Black or Latinx women.

#TDoR2020 data between 1 October 2019 and 30 September 2020 shows that 350 trans and gender-diverse people were murdered.

98% were trans women or trans feminine people, 62% were sex workers, 79% in the USA were Black or people of colour, and 50% in Europe were migrants.

Gathered data shows an alarming trend of a gradual increase in murders of trans and gender-diverse people each year.

Según el informe de @TransRespect en 2018 fueron asesinadas 369 personas trans en el mundo.
