@BrunoHessPT Ellison kissed Bruno with a touch of zeal. He undid the other's vest, throwing it haphazardly onto the floor. Blinking, they both turned to look at it. The servant was never careless with his or other people's attire. Try as he might, his thoughts were somewhat elsewhere.
3/3
@BrunoHessPT The reality was that he didn't know that Tony would help them. At the same time, Ellison wasn't going to take no for an answer -- no matter how skeptical his brother seemed of his and Bruno's relationship. There was simply too much at stake for them.
2/3
@BrunoHessPT "It's just that, I haven't seen you in what feels like forever. You can't imagine, what it's been like..." He gave an involuntary shudder. "I'm sorry." Stoic, Trask. This wasn't like him. He knew he needed to support Bruno. The monkey madhouse was getting to him...
3/3
@BrunoHessPT But that wasn't unusual. He led a busy practice.
The butler groaned into Bruno's neck. "Enough, I've heard enough about the Collinses for one night." (A bold declamation, considering he lived with them!)
2/3
@BrunoHessPT His hand levered near Bruno's forearm in a protective manner. "Shall I have a word with him?" Ellison gazed into Bruno's eyes, searchingly. "He seems to consider my views..." The butler scowled, as he realized that even an affable landlord was a bully. "Damn him."
2/2
@BrunoHessPT Ellison's body was responding to the closeness, and kisses. At the mention of 'Chris Collins' and 'threats', he jolted. "I knew something was wrong. A bull! ...Yes, he can be. He's a Collins." They were all the same.

@BrunoHessPT When the man did not stir, Ellison slid into the sheets beside him. Wrapping his arms tightly around the other's midsection. The smell of nicotine filled his nostrils. Ellison's concern grew. He remained awake, for a time.
4/4
@BrunoHessPT "Oh," he spoke (almost inaudibly). "Bruno!" A shiver of fear ran down his spine, at the thought of his partner being discovered...but then, he remembered that the door was locked. This gave way to relief. He reached out, to tenderly stroke Bruno's thick hair.

@ChrisCollinsDS@CyrusLongworth@MasterCollinsPT@MrsMaggieColl@JuliaDHoffmanPT The butler excused himself from the conversation. By the time he made it to the entrance of Collinwood, the doctor had gone. Ellison wasn't certain if the pang he felt was from relief, or fear...his desire to check on Bruno increased. He no longer wanted to hide behind doors.

At Collinwood, two servants are preparing for the return of their mistress, though neither can agree as to the ownership of that title. Be as it may, the room in which they are standing currently belongs to Maggie Collins, Quentin’s second wife.
1/5
@ChrisCollinsDS@CyrusLongworth@MasterCollinsPT@MrsMaggieColl@JuliaDHoffmanPT An intervention was needed, that much was clear.
The door to the drawing room was wide open, and Ellison could just make out the tails of a long white coat in the distance. Why would Dr. Longworth wear it outside of the lab? He resolved to ask Bruno later on.
2/3
@ChrisCollinsDS@CyrusLongworth@MasterCollinsPT@MrsMaggieColl@JuliaDHoffmanPT That was most unusual. “…I take it your trip to Bangor was eventful? I’m sure Amy will want to hear all about it.” Ellison wondered if he realized. His question was carefully phrased,
so as to not offend. It’s just that Amy would be so disappointed.
2/2
@ChrisCollinsDS@CyrusLongworth@MasterCollinsPT@MrsMaggieColl@JuliaDHoffmanPT “Tired, sir?” The lawyer gave a start; he had been staring off into space. Ellison was about to mention to Chris that his room was already prepared, in case he should wish to retire early—when he noticed that Chris hadn’t brought back any gifts for Amy.
1/2
@ChrisCollinsDS@CyrusLongworth@MasterCollinsPT@MrsMaggieColl@JuliaDHoffmanPT “I have faith she will catch up to her studies. Once all this…blows over.” Yes, at least until the next crisis. Ellison almost missed Angelique. She would have put a stop to her husband’s reckless escapades. The kids deserved it. But he held this in.
2/2
@ChrisCollinsDS@CyrusLongworth@MasterCollinsPT@MrsMaggieColl@JuliaDHoffmanPT Ellison gazed at the brandy being poured. He wished he could have a glass, himself, but remembered how Tony had cautioned him against it. He just sighed. “Everything’s in order. Amy has been a bit absent, but you shouldn’t blame her. It’s been—” chaotic, he nearly said.
1/2
@ChrisCollinsDS@CyrusLongworth@MasterCollinsPT@MrsMaggieColl@JuliaDHoffmanPT Ellison found Chris Collins in the drawing room, where he promised he’d be. “I can bring you up to speed, sir. It seems that Mr. Collins invited the doctor into his house. Into Mrs. Collins’s room,” he clarified. “She is in need of round-the-clock care.”
3/3
@ChrisCollinsDS@CyrusLongworth@MasterCollinsPT@MrsMaggieColl@JuliaDHoffmanPT Dr. Longworth posed an influence on Mr. Collins, that much was clear. Ellison didn’t approve—but then, when had servant approval ever mattered? As he passed Mrs. Hoffman coming down the stairs, he nodded in her direction. She had faced the brunt of the neglect.
