Middlemen, the insurance companies and sundry administrators, get the lion's share of health care dollars. Doctors and others get reimbursed less so they are forced to raise costs. Co-pays are essessive. Every citizen pays more. You think universal healthcare will change that? Taxes, by those who pay them, will massively go up.

@p_ferragu 611 miles without intervention yesterday, starting in Louisville KY and ending in Cary NC. I just sat there and enjoyed the drive, keeping tabs on traffic, ready to take over. Four stops to charge while stretching my legs, using the facilities, buying coffee and lunch.
