Genevan Philosopher, wrote stuff, and composed things. Influenced the enlightenment in Europe, modern political, economic, and education thought. What you do?
@eurohistryqueen Other philosophical homies have different views. Mine is about the foundation of political rights based on unlimited sovereignty. Basically, laws are binding when WE THE PEOPLE support them. I made a whole book about it, read it if you’d like, I get no income either way.
Unbelievable, my Social Contract was my greatest work after my death. Only to be a disappointing turn of events as countries become developed, my work is useless. Hopefully those countries that have yet to become develop embody a version of what i view a democracy....
dang
When @eurohistryqueen hosts a salon, everyone has already RSVPed weeks in advance, but when I invite you guys to Sanssouci, all of a sudden everyone is booked and busy. Why doesn’t anyone want to come over and read my poetry? 😡
I may have been labeled many things, but at least I know the fruits of my sacrifices inspired democracies and constitutions in a global scale. Thank you America.
If you knew back then, you’d call me irrational for my ideas. Nowadays I would be called a genuine future teller or whatever, i knew society was headed to this direction from the start.
