పార్వతీపురం మన్యం జిల్లా, పెదపెంకి గ్రామంలో ప్రత్యేకంగా చేపట్టిన అభివృద్ధి పనుల్లో నాణ్యత, ప్రజల సౌకర్యానికి పెద్దపీట వేయాలని రాష్ట్ర ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులు, పంచాయతీరాజ్ గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి శాఖల మంత్రి శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ప్రభుత్వం కల్పించే సౌకర్యం ప్రజలకు ఇబ్బంది కలిగే విధంగా ఉండకూడదని, సుదీర్ఘకాలం ప్రజలకు సేవలు అందించే విధంగా ఉండాలని సూచనలు చేశారు. నిర్మాణ పనులు పూర్తి చేసిన తర్వాత నిర్వహణా లోపాలు లేకుండా జాగ్రత్తలు పాటించాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు. ప్రజల్లో కూడా పారిశుధ్యం పట్ల అవగాహన కల్పిస్తూ, మార్పు తీసుకురావాలని చెప్పారు. రూ. 4.68 కోట్ల ఉపాధి హామీ, పంచాయతీరాజ్ ఇంజినీరింగ్ విభాగం, మండల పరిషత్, నీటిపారుదల శాఖ తదితర నిధులతో చేపట్టిన అభివృద్ధి పనుల పురోగతిపై అధికారులతో సమీక్షించారు. ఏళ్ల తరబడి బోదకాలు వ్యాధితో బాధపడుతున్న పెదపెంకి గ్రామంలో పారిశుధ్య లోపాలు సరిచేయడంతో పాటు గ్రామాన్ని పూర్తి స్థాయిలో అభివృద్ధి చేసేందుకు శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు ప్రత్యేక కార్యాచరణ రూపొందించారు. గ్రామంలో ప్రజల జీవన ప్రమాణాలు మెరుగుపర్చేందుకు అవసరమైన వాతావరణం కల్పించే దిశగా చేపట్టిన ఈ పనులు తుది దశకు చేరినట్టు అధికారులు తెలియజేశారు.

గ్రామంలో రూ. 4.68 కోట్లతో చేపట్టిన అభివృద్ధి పనుల్లో 27 అంతర్గత సిమెంటు రోడ్ల నిర్మాణం, 12 సిమెంటు డ్రెయిన్లు, ఆరు డ్రెయిన్ కమ్ రోడ్ల నిర్మాణ పనులు పూర్తయ్యాయి. గ్రామంలో పూర్తి చేసిన అంతర్గత సిమెంటు రోడ్ల పొడుగు దాదాపు కిలోమీటరు ఉండగా, డ్రెయిన్లు కిలోమీటరున్నర వరకు ఉన్నాయి. మురుగు నివారణ, పారిశుధ్య చర్యల్లో భాగంగా నిర్మాణం చేపట్టిన మ్యాజిక్ డ్రెయిన్లు 48కిగాను 41 నిర్మాణం పూర్తయినట్టు వివరించారు. గ్రామంలోని తెలగ వీధి, కొత్త వీధి, పెద్ద వీధి, చీకటి వీధి, పిలక వీధి, ఎన్‌టీఆర్ కాలనీ, మెయిన్ వీధి, ఎస్టీ కాలనీలలో నిర్మించిన సీసీ ఓపెన్ డ్రెయిన్లు, మ్యాజిక్ డ్రెయిన్లు మురుగు నీటి సమస్యలను గణనీయంగా తగ్గించాయని, బంకూరు వీధి మరియు చీకటి వీధిలో సీసీ రోడ్ల నిర్మాణం పూర్తికావడంతో ప్రజల రాకపోకలు సులభతరమయ్యాయని వెల్లడించారు. పూర్తయిన మ్యాజిక్ డ్రెయిన్ల పొడుగు రెండు కిలోమీటర్ల వరకు ఉంది. మరో 670 మీటర్లలో నిర్మిస్తున్న ఏడు మ్యాజిక్ డ్రెయిన్లు కూడా దాదాపు పూర్తి కావచ్చినట్టు తెలిపారు. దీంతోపాటు రోడ్లకు ఇరువైపులా కొబ్బరి చెట్లు, కోనేరు సుందరీకరణ తదితర పనుల్లో భాగంగా జాతీయ గ్రామీణ ఉపాధి హామీ పథకం కింద 3,000 వరకు మొక్కలు నాటినట్టు చెప్పారు. రోజుల వ్యవధిలో పూర్తి స్థాయిలో రోడ్లు, డ్రెయిన్లు ప్రజలకు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకువచ్చేందుకు సిద్ధంగా ఉంటాయని వివరించారు.

పారిశుధ్యం, నీటి సంరక్షణ చర్యల్లో భాగంగా వ్యక్తిగత, సామాజిక ఇంకుడు గుంతలు, కంపోస్ట్ పిట్స్ పనులు కూడా చేపట్టినట్టు తెలిపారు. బోద కాలు సమస్య తీవ్రత నేపథ్యంలో ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యుల ఆదేశాల మేరకు పెదపెంకిలో ప్రతి గ్రామస్తుడికీ వ్యక్తిగత హైల్త్ ప్రొఫైల్స్ సేకరించి, డిజిటల్ హెల్త్ ప్రొఫైల్స్ రూపొందించినట్టు వివరించారు.

పెదపెంకి గ్రామంలో అభివృద్ధి పనులు ముందుకు తీసుకువెళ్లేందుకు ఎన్నో సవాళ్లు, ఒత్తిళ్లు ఎదుర్కొని ముందుకు తీసుకువెళ్లిన అధికారులను శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు అభినందించారు. త్వరలో పెదపెంకిలో క్షేత్రస్థాయి పర్యటన ఉంటుందని, నిర్మించిన రోడ్లు, డ్రెయిన్ల నాణ్యతను స్వయంగా పరిశీలిస్తానని తెలిపారు. పెండింగ్ పనులు త్వరగా పూర్తి చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు. పెదపెంకి గ్రామాన్ని పారిశుధ్యం, మౌలిక సదుపాయాల కల్పన, ఆరోగ్య పరిరక్షణ తదితర అంశాల్లో ఆదర్శ గ్రామంగా తీర్చిదిద్దడమే తమ లక్ష్యమని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
