1- No impact on Colombian workers’ jobs
2- No political backlash
3- Reduced government spending
4- No rise in crime against Colombians, but more reports of abuse from female migrants empowered to report
5- Major improvements in migrants' self-reliance and well-being
6- Lower fertility rates among migrants
