Denver, Colorado. 6th Ave Pkwy East between Colorado Blvd. and Monaco.
I drive rideshare part time all over the Denver Metro but do not live in Denver.
There is a traffic signal not at 6th and Jasmine, but maybe 100 yards BEFORE 6th and Jasmine traveling east.
That is weird.
Then add the weird part where both the other car and I approach and the light just turns red for no reason for about 30 seconds with no cross traffic or pedestrians and no traffic on the road.
I tried to look up and all I found was this on Grok.
I thought I had once heard on some mainstream news report that some of these traffic signals in the Denver City limits would deliberately turn red when cars would approach....meaning the city might have installed some sort of sensor or camera to trigger the light to turn red as cars approach.
Wonder how this particular traffic signal, or perhaps others are designed and why?!?
This area of Denver is District 5 who is represented by Amanda Sawyer, who does not appear to have a Twitter account.
.....just asking questions.
