Remember Hind Rajab.

Just 6 years old. She sat for hours on the phone to paramedics with 6 murdered family members around her.

She told them “They are shooting at us. The tank is next to me.”

The Red Cross waited hours for Israel to permit them rescue her.

When the ambulance that was cleared to rescue arrived they executed the medics and then murdered her putting 355 bullets into the car she was in.

Her final words to paramedics and recorded were "I’m so scared, please come".

Today Israel bombed a school turned shelter in Gaza as a wedding was being held.

An IOF tank fired on the building with 6 people murdered and dozens injured.

Israeli forces then prevented ambulance and civil defence crews from reaching the injured, children amongst them.

There is no ceasefire.

There is no peace.

Just brutal colonial oppression.

The funeral of Palestinian national basketball player and local club star Mohammad Sha‘lan was held today, after he was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces while trying to get humanitarian aid in Khan Younis.

Lara, speaking from Brazil, has had no contact with her husband, Thiago Ávila, since he was abducted and detained illegally by Israeli forces from the 'Madleen'.

Since then, @thiagoavilabr has been placed in solitary confinement, denied communication with his family. According to Lara, Israeli authorities threatened Thiago with the psychological torment of isolation without light or ventilation.

Despite this, Thiago remains on hunger strike, holding firm to his belief in justice for Palestinians and the right of every child to food, safety, and freedom.

From his prison cell, he wrote a letter to his 1-year-old daughter. Lara generously shares that with us today.

This is a call not just for Thiago’s release—but for the world to pay attention to #Gaza, to Palestine, and to all people who are exploited, forced to live under occupation.
