the Ravens almost fired John Harbaugh after 2017
40-40 the prior 5 yrs & missed the playoffs in 4 of the 5 yrs
went 4-5 to start 2018…
...then they played Lamar Jackson at QB
Lamar went 6-1 that year & made the playoffs in 6-of-7 years & saved Harbaugh’s job
ultimately lack of ability to make it to/win a Super Bowl plus the playoff miss this year doomed him
he will be a tough coach to replace but it was time for something big to change
time will tell if the change results in more success
Fifth-year LB senior Sean Greeley:
- No offers out of Havre de Grace HS
- Walked on at the school he grew up rooting for
- Put on scholarship before last season
- Just scored his first career TD... on a reception
What a story
The MLW family would like to mourn the loss of one of very own Sophie. Sophie was an integral part of MLW with her passion for catching foul balls. She is the reason for the unique rule we installed “OBS” Out by Sophie. There is a memorial for Sophie in her backyard. RIP Sophie.

The best stories in sports are the long shots; the people nobody expected or overlooked who then rise to prominence.
Demetre Roberts of Mount Vernon is one of those athletes. Totally passed over by D1 out of high school and then a star at St Thomas Aquinas for a D2 national power. That would have been wonderful story in itself.
But what Roberts, along with coach Tobin Anderson, has done this season at Fairleigh Dickinson University — a team-best 16.7 ppg, 4.3 apg and a NCAA Tournament berth — is not just remarkable. It should inspire.
As FDU prepares for tonight's Play-In Game in Dayton, take 2 minutes to appreciate why I've felt very proud to follow @Och_meech on this journey:
Congratulations to Cedric Mullins and his family on receiving a significant raise.
He's going from $720,000 to $4,100,000 in his first year of arbitration.
Well deserved!
