Tonight is a night of:
Reading — books, art books, Masami Nagasawa photo books, magazines, the picture book I made of my dog, notebooks, and my journal
Listening — accompanied by the gentle songs of Karen Mok

To me, graduation is a lot more than completing a phase in school; it is a transition to a whole new phase in the life-cycle that is very different from the phase you are leaving.
Graduation from high school to college is a big step toward independence and freedom, and graduating from high school or college to work is a much bigger transition. It takes you from the first phase in life of being dependent on others and following instructions to the second in which you are independent, working to be successful, and having others increasingly dependent on you.
You will be exposed to the real world rather than studying about it in a protected environment. The paths and choices that will be available will be much more wide-ranging compared to what you are used to. You won't yet know how to approach these choices and you probably will think you're a more capable decision maker than you are.
You are entering a whole new phase of self-discovery and discovery of how the world works. I urge you to be very open-minded and curious and ask others who have successfully navigated this phase for advice. This is the phase in which you should prioritize gaining a broad understanding through open-minded exploration before you decide what you want to focus in on.
I suggest that you take my free personality test, PrinciplesYou, to learn more about yourself to help you to identify and pursue a good path for you: https://t.co/BZl5TdeDkh
I also suggest that you learn to meditate to give yourself the equanimity, common sense, and creativity to help you navigate this new phase well.
Finally, make sure to reflect on how reality works and think about and write down what your principles are for dealing with it well.
Congratulations on what you have accomplished and enjoy the new adventure that's ahead!
Light before you wake up is used by your body to prepare for waking with many studies showing the benefit with strength, cognition, and alertness.
Light immediately after you arise is used to strengthen your circadian rhythm for the rest of the day and set up melatonin 14 hours later for a better night's sleep.
Both of the above go away when the sun rises after you wake up.
pDST makes this much more likely precisely during the months when we have a scarcity of sunlight to being with.
