The UK has 6M businesses. We haven’t had 53M business failures.

Also, starting a business is now an asymmetric risk. The downside of failure could be sub £10K and the upside of success could be over £500K.

Also, failure doesn’t leave you with nothing. From every failure you learn valuable lessons. Failure isn’t the opposite of success, it’s the lead up to success.

Don’t listen to the pessimists - they sound smart but they never win the game.
