Shadow is a 15 month old male house cat. He is looking for a new home.
Shadow is neutered and chipped.
He is also healthy with no medical issues.
Shadow eats felix original cat food and is also litter trained.
He is very friendly but can be shy at first. He is use to older kids.
A home with no other pets is best as he is not use to other animals.
Shadow sleeps in his owners bed at night and has a scratch post.
He has two carry boxes which he is use to.

He would be great as a companion for someone or a family pet.

Meet Charlie.

Charlie spent years chained outside before finally finding a home.

His owner shared that during the first few weeks, he didn’t even know what to do with a soft bed. Instead of lying on it, he’d curl up on the floor beside it every night.

It may seem like a small moment.

But for a dog who’d never known comfort, it meant everything.

Meet Daisy.

She spent months waiting in a shelter after being discarded by the people who bred her.

Everything around her feels unfamiliar. Loud sounds make her flinch. She barely leaves the corner of the room, and she’s still too frightened to eat unless no one is watching.

Healing doesn’t happen overnight.

Today she lifted her head when someone called her name. It’s a tiny step, but for a dog who’s forgotten what safety feels like, it’s a big victory.

This is 79-year-old Robert Thompson from Bray. Robert is completely blind, but until recently, he has managed to live a highly independent life with the help of his brilliant guide dog, Rhona.

But right now, Wicklow County Council is failing him, and the entire visually impaired community.

For years, the audible signals at pedestrian crossings across Bray have been faulty. Recently, things have gone from bad to worse. The critical audio signals that tell Robert where the crossing pole is (the "wait" sound) and when it is actually safe to cross (the "go" sound) have stopped working entirely on busy routes near his home.

"There’s no way I would cross that road without the sound," Robert says. "It’s just too dangerous."

To make matters worse, recent changes to the local Dublin bus network (replacing the old 145 route with the E1 spine) mean his usual handy bus stops are gone. Because the council has left the nearby pedestrian signals broken, Robert can no longer cross the street safely at his local stop.

Robert is now forced to get off the bus early and walk a massive, grueling 1.5 kilometers EACH WAY along a highly dangerous, busy stretch of road just to find a single working crossing.

Robert has contacted Wicklow County Council repeatedly. They have acknowledged his complaints, but they have met him with absolute silence regarding any actual repairs.

Basic mobility and safety should be a right, not a luxury. By ignoring these broken signals for years, the council is effectively trapping vulnerable residents in their own towns and actively stripping away their independence.

Beau is a sweet, silver-faced Labrador mix who deserves so much more than a kennel. He's housebroken, knows his basic cues, and never says no to a tasty treat. He's looking for an adults-only home where he can be your one and only pet - a place where he can finally exhale, settle in, and simply be loved for exactly who he is. After 11 years, we don't think it's fair to ask Beau to become someone he's not. He deserves a family that will meet him where he is, appreciate his gentle spirit, and give him the peaceful retirement he's earned.

He's lost the only home he's ever known.

Ann Widdecombe was an elderly woman living alone who has reportedly been murdered.

Whether you agreed with her views or not, this is a truly horrific tragedy.

I cannot believe some of the disgraceful comments I've seen on social media today. A woman has been violently attacked and killed, yet some people still can't show the most basic decency or humanity.

Political differences should never outweigh compassion. A violent death is not something to celebrate or mock, and the lack of empathy on display highlights the state of our society.

My heart goes out to her family & friends 💔
