Business Central 26.1 update failed over a dozen times. Firstpartyupgradelogic...Tonight 26.2 fails. Same error. Claims it "is being investigated". Am I stuck on 26.0 forever? Even fails if extensions are removed. #msdyn365bc #businesscentral @MSDYN365BC @yzhums

@yzhums I get Firstpartyupgradelogic error when trying to update. Had that before in 2023. Can't remember if I fixed it or just waited for Microsoft hotfix.

@dvlprlife Added it to about 12 fields over different areas of BC - items, customers, vendors, project planning lines, resource ledger and a couple of others - all working, no errors when searching. Will roll out an update when production is upgraded to 25.3.

@dvlprlife I tried it on a 25.3 sandbox (I didn't try in 25.2) and it works. At least it did on one custom field on Customer table. Yay! Will add a few more and see if when it breaks again!

#msdyn365bc Business Central 2024 Wave 2 - still having issues with extensions using OptimizeForTextSearch in 25.1. The argument type "nvarchar(max)" is invalid for argument 2 of "CONTAINS". Feel like 25.x has been very buggy, maybe just me...

Got the dreaded Business Central Modify your extension so it’s compatible with the version 25.2.27127.0 email. They are all "Table 'Active Session' is missing" or "Error AL0185: Table 'User' is missing". Are those tables really gone? Can I see the symbols for 25.2? #msdyn365bc

Something changed. I don't have 25.1 yet, but Timesheet approval now working and my Team's tablets also started working this morning (although I think they've stopped working since). Very bizarre. @MSDYN365BC #msdyn365bc

Still can't approve time sheets in BC25 and now my staff on Android tablets can't login to the app (Teams licences). Not very impressed. #msdyn365bc @MSDYN365BC

Business Central time sheet approval seems to be "broken" in BC25. I am Time Sheet admin, but as of now the Approve action isn't available in Time Sheet Manager. This could be tricky! #msdyn365bc

@yzhums BC25 SaaS: Modern search works, but with an extension using OptimizeForTextSearch on a field I get an error about Cannot use a CONTAINS or FREETEXT predicated on table... As though Full Text search isn't enabled (but it works without an extension). Weird.

@phenno1 I struggled with this all day (and deep into the early hours this morning), and assumed it was a a json error or a symbols error at my end. However, upload of latest PTE worked successfully a few minutes ago. Not sure if I solved it or someone at Microsoft...
