@StatmanDave For the Q+A, how did you get into tactics in football? Have you ever or would you ever coach a team, or is it something you’ve just been interested in?
@WolfeyGlick I believe you could create a bot that could learn to do anything humans can, with enough effort, time, and training data. Given enough practice it could be trained to beat anyone, providing the machine is practiced enough at the game. Making it would be a whole other challenge.
After a few weeks of watching videos of coaches and sessions being delivered, I finally delivered a session to my own team in the style I would like to. Progress is always good.
Just finished a new coaching session planning frame to roll out to my other coaches. It’s taken a while for me to get right but it should be really useful and make my sessions loads better.
Anybody that codes, is it the best feeling to be able to do something someone says is impossible with your current know how?
A quick google search for some syntax, a bit of reverse engineering and I have achieved what I wanted. (It’s not too complex tbf but still).
Great news to get home to. My RE was remarked and I got the extra mark!!
