🔹नागरिकांनी अफवांवर विश्वास न ठेवता केवळ अधिकृत माध्यमांद्वारे प्रसारित करण्यात येणाऱ्या सूचना व इशाऱ्यांचे पालन करावे. प्रशासन व आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन यंत्रणेकडून वेळोवेळी जारी करण्यात येणाऱ्या सूचना व मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वांचे काटेकोरपणे पालन करावे.

Stop using bad geography to cover up systemic civic apathy.

First, the premise is factually false. Global megacities like Manila, Dhaka, and several massive urban hubs across Southeast Asia frequently cross the 800mm monthly rainfall threshold during peak monsoon and typhoon seasons.

Second, the crisis in Mumbai isn’t just the volume of water; it’s the criminal lack of political will. The failure to overhaul the century-old British-era drainage systems, the unmitigated destruction of vital mangrove buffers, the perennial clogging of the Mithi River, and the multi-crore pump tenders that fail every single July are governance issues, not natural ones.

Nature provides the rain, but corrupt urban planning provides the waterlogging. Mumbaikars pay the highest taxes in the country; they deserve robust global infrastructure, not annual excuses wrapped in fake "unique challenge" propaganda.
