Some really fun demos, met a ton of great people, and somehow left with even more things I want to build than I came in with.

I don’t think we even have the definition of consciousness nailed down. Yes I know we have a definition technically, but can it have a beating heart? No. Can it have a soul (if you believe in that)? Probably not. Can it think? Definitely.

At the end of the day it’s just really complex math that is made to predict that humans will do/want based on what we have done. No matter how great it becomes that’s what it is at the end of the day.

If you look at it like that, I say no (but really not technically). Very nuanced

@grimcodes I actually made something like this that I sometimes use locally but it still doesn’t work as great as you’d hope. And I find it interesting that you find Claude better than chat gpt at ui! Everyone’s experience is different
