@biffybeans @Clint_Davey1 I commented on @SamHealey74's revisit of Memoir that I preferred Undaunted. While they both have dice and are card driven, I felt like Undaunted wasn't as swingy, that you had more options with your cards and the dice combat more controlled (1d10 vs 4d6).

@biffybeans @Clint_Davey1 Great example of this luck/swinginess in a strategy game: Memoir '44. Yes, the player has some agency on which cards to use, but sometimes (though admittedly rarely) none of the cards you draw are really useful. Add in the dice combat and it's swingy on top of swingy.

@TheBrokenMeeple I feel like padding is a common issue in a lot of movies. Honestly, if I see that a movie's 2+ hrs long (or even north of 1:45), that's a no thanks from me.

@TheBrokenMeeple It depends on which ones. I personally find natural history ones to be boring, but science and technology to be engaging. Also, it depends on how many exhibits are interactive. The US postal museum was a pleasant surprise is this regard.
