APP RUNS LOCALHOST on your annode.

External mail hits DNS mx annodes (multiple) that route mail to annodes cryptographically tied to nids (announced, by choice of anne identity user who wants to be reached). Entry pt from plaintext email is encrypted, then transported to target annode which acts as the mail server for nids it is tied to.

Mail is only stored on the annode tied to the nids the email accts are tied to. You run you own annode, you control everything. Fun bonus, all attachments are auto-converted to ghost file neurons (usable on your annode in other apps, and if you CHOOSE, you can share these withing ANNE via ANTOR or upgrade it to an ANNE neuron that all users of the datachain can get from you)

The REAL INTENDED WAY TO MESSAGE is neuron to neuron not using "email" or the traditional systems. We can communicate DIRECTLY p2p (from localhost apps, not even on a "website") where these messages are BASED, encrypted E2E and even transported securely. (AMAIL is a bridge from the old world for ANNE users.)
