@Lavvyra My audio has been breaking as well. The only fix for me is to restart my headset. It's been consistently happening when I play iron rebellion and only when I enter a multiplayer match oddly enough.
@Thrilluwu Im absolutely loving my frame. Tonight I was lying in my bed, a YouTube video above me, standalone hollowknight in front of me, and pass through on. It was an excellent experience and the comfort of the frame is by far the best I've experienced so far.
@HardwareSteam Jusy got mine today and I was thinking the same thing. I bought the accessory kit and I don't know if I'll even need to top strap. I agree with others that the controllers don't feel quite as comfortable as the quest 2 controllers. But the pass through is more than usable.
@nathie 100% yes, I still want it. It's the ecosystem that sells it so well for me still. It probably won't have the best tech, but it will be more than enough with steam behind it
@GAMERTAGVR Right now my biggest turn-off for VR is the optics of my quest 2. It feels like I'm wearing a pair of binoculars in both FOV and weight. I bought it for the wireless capability but I regret selling my Index for it. I am patiently waiting for the Frame and will buy it day 1.
@D1scordgiveaway @EricPresidentVR This is exactly the problem I had after playing HL:A a few years ago. It killed my ability to enjoy VR because nothing is as good as it.
I still jump in for the odd game of beat saber, or try to do some socializing in demeo, but it's just not the same.
@NoahRayburnXR I don't disagree, but comfort wouldn't have had the same wow factor. In the end, I think they made the wrong choice in terms of product design, but I can understand why they did it. It's different, it looks different, it breaks the mold.
@SadlyItsBradley I think this speaks to the power Apple has to bring in people who wouldn't normally consider VR as an option. But at the same time, damn, its just a red dot following your hands direction. Wait until she tries literally anything else XD
@CORSAIR Water attacks? These marketing people must have been so happy when they thought of that π. How do we make accidentally knocking over your water bottle sound cool?!?! "Holy cow Jim, your keyboard is literally under attack from water!". "Brilliant Doug, ship it!"
@RFfromMass@theashleyray In Canada, where I am from, "engineer" is a protected title that requires certification from APPEGA and schooling through an accredited university. I'm starting to understand why they do this. That "bunker" is a death trap and software eng. is not a real engineering designation.
@EricPresidentVR If a user struggles to remain comfortable in a headset for more than 5 minutes, the rest falls apart. If a user struggles to use the software, the rest falls apart. If a user has bad tracking, the rest falls apart. It's a system, it all has to work together. Aka trade offs.
