@matt_lorelli Dealt with a similar problem before. Sucks. Not sure on recourse. But, another issue to watch out for is mice/squirrels will take insulation into the ductwork for nests. Worth checking for as you don't want to breathe that in either! If that's the case, push for a duct cleaning.

@isaiah_p_taylor sounds like a haz waste incinerator but with a pyrolysis angle. might as well just generate energy with the fuel onsite. metals separation would be tricky depending on inputs, likely to be dominated by Fe and Al with other elements much more difficult to remove.
