@LogicalThesis It will always calculate a maintenance margin requirement, but this will just fluctuate in proportion with your equity if you haven’t borrowed on margin. No margin call possible unless the weighted average maintenance margin for your positions exceeds 100%.

@PurpleDrink_LLC Whether or not these tariffs get rolled back, Lutnick’s comments suggest that tariffs on semiconductors are coming and will stick (auto tariffs set the precedent, though perhaps that’s pandering to the base). Quite the asymmetric setup.
