@ausmacon@Finchinator2 I would say the insults and demands to leave because my input was stupid would be the main reason. Smogon forum is pretty hostile, you arent going to get a wide sample there.
@AikadoLoR I think Demacia is at its best when it's getting ahead on board and given strong payoffs for achieving that. CS just converts random idiots into a win, or elusive cheeses. Thats Bandle, not Demacia.
@Drisoth With any of these outcomes we're keeping a big guy then swinging back for either lethal or eat their whole board. I'm not sure how to stay ahead if they have a ping combo but I think the board mostly equalises and top-deck war when we trade with their vulnerable gunner.
@Drisoth If they use 1 prize fight we let it go through (9 damage), meaning we keep either gnar or boat. After combat we kill their boat. If we keep boat we threaten brash lethal next turn, if we keep gnar we eat their vulnerable gunner. If they use zero prize fight we keep both big guys.
@Drisoth Stony suppressors one strength is it makes it difficult to both develop board and play combat tricks/protection in the same turn... which is exactly what Demacia wants to do. Card is terrible at taxing removal spells which is what its always played for (and terrible in general).
@thecupismine If Baccai is nothing but a mid-late game predict+chump blocker that has to mean most Shurima decks should be cutting it for scrying sands right? It has more value in those turns.
@plzdonhakme I'm not sure that religion and philosophy are that closely linked.
"I can bring people back from the dead, follow me and I'll bring you back from the dead too."
This is a solid reason to be Christian but doesn't mean you have much shared morality with other Christians.
@Drisoth There are a couple of card games where your deck is your hp and damage mills/tosses cards in your deck. Harry Potter and Phantom Menace card games come to mind. Drawing literally loses life in those games.
I've been listening to some classics lately because they're free and I'm broke.
Three Musketeers 10/10
Treasure Island 9/10
Peter Pan 7/10
Dracula 7/10
The Invisible Man 6/10
Count of Monte Cristo 5/10
Robin Hood 3/10
Frankenstein 3/10
Hunchback of Notre Dame - gave up quickly
@DysisLucia Discard used to be a pool 2 deck. Late in the beta they decided it should be a hela combo deck rather than a high points curve deck and nerfed them all hard.
Jubilee also used to be a new pool 2 deck before her nerf.
Odin got left behind when Blue Marvel and Dino got buffed.
I am Collector Level 1650 in Marvel Snap, I still cannot build a single meta deck, not even particularly close to any of them. When the new release players hit the collectors reserve tiers (CL1000ish?) There is going to be a huge blowup about this games awful monetisation.
@DysisLucia I've seen quicksilver run in some carnage/angel thinning decks that desperately need carnage food on turn 1. For most decks passing turn 1 is better than quicksilver though. Quicksilver being 1 fewer draw to find key cards really hurts. Chavez is amazing though.
@thatCHARM3R@MarvelSnap I had a fun game earlier an opponent tried this. Between Aero and Magneto everything ended up in the wrong place and zero ongoings happened.
On turn 7 the board was empty. I played a 5-drop. Opponent recalled it then played a Nami. At the start of turn 8 I died from full to the Nami's 23 damage open attack. This is indeed a LoR meta we're in.
@SilverfusePlays Winning fights. Challenger and buff spells to create favourable fights and then strikes and rallies to create more fights. Rally closes out the game once you've won all the fights. Maybe more stats to win fights is intended but in reality I think their creatures are quite small.
@SilverfusePlays Is part of Demacias identity really bigger stats? I feel as though they're usually smaller than other regions with the sole exception of Broadwing. They do pay a huge price for Golden Aegis though.
