@man_matej Congrats already @man_matej! 🥳 I'll follow online 🤓

[Tuuli Rissanen @TuuliRissanen]

This has been quite an effort, can't wait to get to work with the data!

[Research Centre For Ecological Change @RECecochange]

BEF fieldwork season is coming to an end. Several teams have spread around Finland to visit 163+ sites to measure multifuctionality in Finnish forests. And while the processing work moves indoor, we thank everyone for their massive efforts. 🌲🌿🪲

Helsinki is the place to be this August!

[Tuuli Rissanen @TuuliRissanen]

Kicked of #ibsprague2024 on my behalf by presenting our new @RECecochange study about cross-taxa diversity-stability relationships 🦉🐿️🦋

[Ondřej Mottl @OndrejMottl]

@nogue_sandra @ManuSteinbauer @Rozzi_Roberto @E_Carlen @JCSvenning @SuzetteFlantua @Lacapary @MolluscMatt @MilanChytry @TuuliRissanen explores the biodiversity-stability relationship in Finland. Structural equation modeling suggests that richness is affecting stability but only through various facets of biodiversity.

Final paper of my PhD is now out! 🥳 Here we, @PONiittynen, @soininen_janne, @heliKainulainen, #ainoaalto, #ollikauppi and #miskaluoto, showed the importance of snow and fluvial disturbance for tundra biodiversity 🌿🌸❄️💧

Had the best PhD defense yesterday thanks to my opponent professor Bente Jessen Graae, it was an honor to have her here in Helsinki. I couldn't be happier how the whole day went and now I'm a doctor! 🎩 #phdlife has ended.
