To everyone puzzled by the solidarity shown by Kashmiris with the people of Iran after its Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, attained martyrdom, and to those asking questions like “did Kashmiris stand with the victims of Pahalgam?”, the answer lies in this thread. Please feel free to read through it.
We have received deeply disturbing and chilling reports from Kashipur, Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand, where a Kashmiri shawl seller Bilal Ahmad was brutally assaulted by a group of Bajrang Dal workers led by Ankur Singh.
He is not a newcomer. He has been selling shawls in Udham Singh Nagar for the past 9–10 years, living peacefully within the community. Despite this, he was threatened, asked to vacate the area and leave the state immediately, his stock was looted, and he was even threatened with death.
We urge the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, @pushkardhami Ji, to immediately intervene, put an end to this reign of terror, and ensure the prompt arrest of the culprits. We also request the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, @OmarAbdullah Sahab, to urgently take up the matter with his counterpart in Uttarakhand and ensure protection for Kashmiri traders. We further appeal to the Hon’ble Union Home Minister, @AmitShah Ji, for his personal intervention in this grave matter.
Kashmiris are not outsiders in India. We are equal citizens and an integral part of this country, entitled to the same rights, freedoms, and protections as any other Indian under the Constitution. Targeting innocent Kashmiri traders and forcing them out of cities only deepens alienation and mistrust. This is precisely what our hostile neighbour seeks, to sow division and weaken our social fabric. By harassing Kashmiris, we are inadvertently playing into their hands and undermining national unity.
We urge Uttarakhand government to take immediate and decisive action by directing the authorities to register an FIR and book the right-wing elements involved under the relevant provisions of law. Such acts of violence, intimidation, and communal hatred must not go unchecked. Strict and exemplary action will send a strong message that communal bigotry has no place in a progressive, inclusive, and democratic society.
Nothing will do more damage to the idea of India in Kashmir than incidents like these. The rule of law must prevail. India’s strength lies in its unity in diversity. Any assault on that spirit is an assault on the nation itself.

People of #Kargil observing complete shutdown today agnst the endless injustice by the GoI.
We 've already opposed & rejected the bill of the PARTITION and abrogation of Art.370 of #JammuAndKashmir.
Say No to abrogation of #Article370/partition of the state on communal lines.
The Leaders of Leh got trapped in an anti-Kashmir narrative during which their stand was against the article 370 & 35A which actually turned the entire region vulnerable to the huge concerns of job, land & future security — We demand 4 August 2019 position.

Saw a wonderful wedding reel from Kargil where Wazwan was served. So many negative comments, guess from who?
Yes correct, Kashmiris. Calling Wazwan a Bidat & some even suggesting biryani. We abandoned Kashmiri language, at-least spare your culture!
Most of these morons flock their relatives weddings and take majority of wazwan home in packets. When to comes to others and neighbors it becomes a Bidat 😆
