@pigletish Aside from the practical, comfort based things people have mentioned - the company of someone safe who will just be there.
Also remember that there’s no “right” way to grieve - there’s nothing you should be doing, nothing that you should be feeling
@pigletish Have you seen @LindsayBramanMA’s version? Same type of design but with a ring that’s body sensation - so if you have trouble narrowing down the emotion you can start with associated physical sensations. It’s awesome
Analyze This was another great @SchoolOfMovies episode. It also made me feel a little better about my own anxiety and a few emotional pandemic meltdowns I've had. 👍
We’ve gone back to school!
Check out the latest @SchoolOfMovies ep about Analyse This
We chat about all things mobster therapy - ethics, trauma processing under gunfire & toxic masculinity

Fantastic to see NICE guidelines move away from risk assessment, towards safety planning in #SuicidePrevention
But how do we get organisations to shift focus?
Unambiguous conclusion on risk assessment tools in today’s NICE guidance on self-harm.
Don’t use them.
Risk is individual, complex, dynamic & can’t be reduced to a number.
Assessment should be personal, collaborative, leading to a practical plan to keep safe.
@DaveMilbo The child psychologist in the room can’t resist the urge to comment on the teeth & belly button - impressive attention to detail for a preschooler!
