This is the TD8 AI Builders Community.
We train the next generation who actually ship.
No hype. Just code, certify, and build proprietary models + agents with Claude/Grok.
Open to all real builders. Let’s grow together.

We recently introduced Gemini Omni Flash, our first model in the new Omni family.
With Omni, you can easily create and edit high-quality videos from text, image, video or audio references. We recently gave developers access to it, and since then, we’ve seen builders all over the world use Omni to create a range of personal and professional projects.
Here are some of our favorite ways we’ve seen builders use Omni so far ↓
📽️ Switch angles and perspectives
You can change camera angles, switch environments, and apply cinematic zooms — all without losing the thread of your original scene.
Builder @LexnLin took full advantage of this capability, capturing a woman standing in the middle of a city from about 20 different perspectives.
You see her from different angles: up close and far away, head on and in profile, from above, and from below. Some shots zoom in, while others hold still. And the background shifts, too.

For decades, we’ve dreamed of robots that can seamlessly step into our world and lend a hand.
Today, we take a major stride toward making that dream a reality:
Introducing Gemini Robotics 2 from @GoogleDeepMind, the intelligence layer powering the next generation of truly adaptable robots. This major advance unlocks intelligent whole-body control, advanced dexterity, and even multi-robot collaboration 🤯.
Ok but... how does a robot actually "think"?
Real-world tasks take time and planning. To manage that complexity, our new embodied reasoning model, Gemini Robotics ER 2, acts as the robot’s high-level brain, enhancing the robot’s capabilities to:
— Observe the environment
— Reason about the actions needed to complete the task
— Coordinate with the vision-language-action model to carry out actions
— Track progress until the job is done
This setup allows robots to execute complex multi-step workflows, self-correct if a step fails, and adapt to completely novel situations.

Create, edit, and summarize with Gemini on macOS using your voice.
Stay in your flow by speaking into any active window: Dictate clean text or ask Gemini to transform highlighted content, analyze local files, & generate visuals right where your cursor is.
This new voice capability is rolling out in the Gemini macOS app globally in English, with support for more languages coming soon.
Introducing Agent Baseline: a vendor-neutral reference architecture for safely building, deploying, and operating AI agents in enterprise environments.
Created with @snyksec and @KeycardLabs, this open-source framework sets the minimum standard for agent safety:

☑️ New from LangChain Academy: Become a LangChain Certified Agent Engineer
The first certification for the full Agent Development Lifecycle.

GPT-5.6 Luna is now 80% less expensive
Luna is the fastest and most affordable model, built to use tools and complete multi-step workflows at scale.
It delivers performance comparable to models that were frontier-class a year ago at roughly 6 cents on the dollar per task.
Good news for anyone with too many tabs: ChatGPT is getting better around the web.
🧩 Chrome extension: In Side Chat, ask about a YouTube video, reference your open tabs, or highlight text on a page and ask away.
💻 Desktop app: Get URL suggestions as you type, revisit your browser history, and choose how it’s managed.
Rolling out today.

LLMs have changed how we build software.
But relying on a single, monolithic LLM can be unsustainable.
Here, Chidiebere goes over how to build an intelligent model router to balance performance, latency, and cost without sacrificing response quality.

Starting today, you can create ten videos *at no cost* in Gemini until 11:59pm PT on August 4th, 2026.
Just select "Create video" in the tools menu to create, edit, and remix videos to bring your ideas to life.

Codex keeps getting faster and easier to use
A year ago, people still questioned if AI coding was more than a demo
Today, Codex isn’t just a tool, it’s becoming where the workday happens
Arguably the best coding UI out right now.

Introducing Plan Mode.
You shouldn't need a perfect prompt to get a good result. Manus now plans before it builds — turning rough ideas into clear specs.
You check the plan, not the output
→ Researches feasibility before building
→ Surfaces edge cases you didn't think of
→ Produces a full plan from one sentence
→ Nothing ships until you confirm
Plan first, build once. Available on web and mobile
KIMI K3 IS FREE (AND MOST PEOPLE ARE USING IT WRONG)
You don't need a paid plan to access one of the strongest open AI models available.
Here's the setup almost nobody tells you about.
Getting started:
→ Create a free account at Kimi.
→ Switch the model from K2.6 to K3.
→ Skip K3 Swarm unless you have a paid plan because it burns through your free token allowance much faster.
Best free settings:
✓ Keep the context window on Standard.
✓ Leave "Extra Long" for premium users.
✓ Use Standard thinking for everyday work and increase it only when tackling difficult coding tasks.
When to use each model:
→ K2.6 = fast responses, simple prompts, brainstorming.
→ K3 = websites, coding, complex reasoning, larger projects.
What K3 can actually build:
✓ Complete websites.
✓ 3D experiences and games.
✓ AI-generated videos when combined with Remotion.
One more tip:
Free usage can be limited during busy hours.
If you use it during off-peak times, you'll usually get access to more free tokens.
For an open model performing at this level, that's a ridiculously good deal.
Curious about Docker Sandboxes but not sure where to start?
