UD is leading a $2M NSF-funded project to create the NSF Center for Robust, Equitable, and Accessible Technology (CREATE) for Next-Generation BioFoundries. Accelerating research and workforce training in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. @MarkBlenner@UDChBE https://t.co/24xhunK3ge
Outstanding news for Center members @drksolomon, @WilfredChen1, and Terry Papoutsakis, who are participating in an ERC to upgrade electrochemically fixed co2 to higher value products. @UDengineering@UDChBE
Congrats to @drksolomon for winning the 2024 Biochemical Engineering Journal Young Investigator Award! Here he delivers his award lecture at the ECI Biochemical & Molecular Engineering XXIII meeting in Dublin.
Yesterday at ECI Biochemical Engineering XXIII, Kelvin Lee from @UDChBE and @NIIMBL presented a keynote lecture on community efforts to develop CHO genome resources, applications of that data to biopharma problems, and how communication is critical to science policy change.
Postdoc candidates: If you're interested in designing symbioses that redefine the phrase "synthetic ecology", & if you don't mind donning formal wear once a year, then apply for a position in our group!
