If anyone on here uses Bluesky you can add me there. I will be deactivating my Twitter account in a few months. This place hasn’t been the same since the loser took over and no matter what I do I can’t avoid seeing the dumbest and most depressing garbage being spewed constantly.
Shoutout to everybody at Netflix who decided not to move forward with all the projects David Lynch wanted to do in his final years. I'm sure all the other stuff you greenlit instead was much better.
This fucking sucks man. I’ll never forget the first time seeing Blue Velvet at 16 or so and just being utterly entranced. Mullholland Drive is my 3rd favourite film of all time. I didn’t love all his films but I respected the hell out of them. One of a kind director.
So I started Dragons Dogma 2 and I’m about 15 hours in. It’s very odd as it feels so much like the first game with no real improvements to speak of. It feels straight from 2008 and the visuals are hideous at times. I’m enjoying it as I enjoyed the first game though.
@Marloges Nah you kinda maxed on power at a certain point in Rogue Legacy while this one the upgrades seem endless. I was overpowered after a certain point. There are some tough bonus modes though where you can’t keep upgrades from your main game.
Rogue Legacy 2 platinum. Much improved over the first game with more progression and a better feeling of always getting stronger. Still not a fan of the art but the gameplay is quite varied and fun. Recommended for fans of Rogue-lites.
Here is my Top 10 for 2024:
1. Infinite Wealth
2. Astro Bot
3. Silent Hill 2
4. Prince of Persia
5. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree
6. Unicorn Overlord
7. Crow Country
8. Metaphor
9. FF7 Rebirth
10. Helldivers 2
Watched this movie. I loved most of it but the ending is fucking stupid and ruined pretty much everything about it for me. Shame because there are some great performances and eerie atmosphere here.
@vvolfflovv Really good man. Some of the best combat I’ve seen in a metroidvania. Great level design and smooth controls. Pretty challenging too which I liked.
Wow the platinum was way faster than I thought. I’m pretty glad they don’t require you to do all the challenges. Some of them are just a pain in the ass.
Prince of Persia done. Easily the best game Ubisoft has put out since Rayman Legends. I loved how challenging the platforming and bosses could be at times and generally the level design is quite strong. Story is hot garbage and some of the puzzle designs are a little tedious.
On paper this sounds like something I have no interest in but we’ll see. I’m willing to give it a chance, I just hope it does some fundamentally different things than ER does. I’m pretty tired of this type of game at this point and multiplayer is not a selling point it me.
