UK Association for Milk Banking. Collaboratively bringing together milk donors, recipient families, health care providers & supporters of the milk bank network.
Next week (October 9th) marks the start of Baby Loss Awareness week. #BLAW
This means that your social media and mainstream media may become filled with posts about baby loss, as families, charities and organisations work together to raise awareness and share their experiences.
Last week our wonderful @carolgbarnes and the incredible @sara_clarke8 presented a workshop on donor milk together at the N3 meeting! Looking forward to seeing this develop further for @UKAMB1 study day! #collaboration#donormilk
Great to have our first of our new UKAMB monthly meetings 💜
These will be held monthly and open to all Milk Bank teams! Great to see the teams from @CHFTNHS@uhbtrust@MilkBankChester Queen Charlottes and @StGeorgesTrust

Did you know today has been World Human Milk Donation Day! I am proud to have made my own donations whilst Charlie was a young baby to @MilkBankChester & to be @UKAMB1 patron too.
@MairBosworth@heartsmilkbank@BBCRadio4@milk_foundation Thank you ❤️ it’s a wonderful network working towards a shared goal and so important for people to have access to learn more. (Just thought we would share the link so people know where their nearest is!) Thank you to the families for sharing their story today. Inspiring! ❤️
@heartsmilkbank@MairBosworth@BBCRadio4@milk_foundation Don’t forget the rest of the UK network of the 14 other milk banks funded by the NHS as we all work to ensure that the babies who need donor milk have access to it ❤️ https://t.co/ovrvAHEgQj
Thank you for raising awareness of donor milk
Great to be back face to face with the UKAMB team, planning for the future of UK milk banks, collaboratively working to bring together milk donors, recipient families, health care providers and supporters of the extensive milk bank networks #everydropcounts#ukmilkbanks
