The General Overseer and founder of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, who is also a scientist and author, is honoring Osasere Okundaye, a 16-year-old girl from Edo who has become Nigeria's youngest chartered accountant.
Osasere Okundaye is a beacon of hope and motivation for young girls worldwide. Her focus on education proves that it can lead to opportunities beyond what money can provide. She is a testament that education is not a scam. Let’s inspire our children to prioritize their education if we want them to be the leaders of the future.

Return to the Government of the monarchy, now is the time, 1897 invasion we will never forget, Benin was among the first to acknowledge Brazil sovereignty in 1822
Obi Kenneth Ezegbunem, the revered monarch of Nsukwa, and a proud descendant of the illustrious Oba Ehengbuda, paid a courtesy visit to the esteemed Obaseki villa, fostering a spirit of unity and heritage as he honored his ancestral roots and connected with his extended family.
Ogbeide Oyo, father of Agho (Obaseki), was the son of Osifo Oyo, who had been displaced as the rightful king of Nsukwa by his brother. This led Osifo to return to Benin and settle in Isi town, Uhunmwonde. There, he met Prince Erediauwa (known as Oba Osemwede), who was facing a similar predicament. Osifo, empathizing with the prince's situation, offered his support and sent his son Ogbeide Oyo to accompany him to Ewohimi, where a safe haven had been prepared.
Following the death of Oba Ogbebo, who tragically took his own life - a first in Benin's history - Prince Erediauwa returned to Benin, accompanied by his loyal supporters, including Ogbeide Oyo. In gratitude, Erediauwa bestowed abundant blessings upon them and granted them land, including the Ekpende estate, where a branch of the Ogbeide Oyo family still resides to this day. Later, Agho Ogbeide Oyo (Obaseki) built his own estate and honored his ancestors by constructing a palace, known as Ehengbuda Palace, which stands at the back of Obaseki Villa, serving as a testament to his heritage.
Earlier this week, the Obi of Nsukwa visited his ancestral homeland, the kingdom of his Ancestors and the source of his throne. During his visit, he also paid his respects to his extended family in Benin, specifically his elder brothers, strengthening ties with his roots and fostering unity among his kin.

The Empire of Great Benin was a sovereign nation before she was unjustly invaded by the British in the year 1897, this year makes 110 years of restoring our kingship without restoring our sovereignty

In 1824, the republic of Brazil, in South America, forcibly obtained her independence from Portugal, cutting off the Umbilical cord which joined her to her European mother-country, other European were loathe to extend Diplomatic Recognition to the new country. The kingdom of Benin, under Oba Osemwende (1816-1848), was one of the first sovereign countries in the world to extend to this South American country the Diplomatic Recognition which validated her independence.
The Oba of Lagos;oba
Oshinlokun(1821-1829) had recommended to Benin City, a wealthy and literate Lagosian, a Brazilian returnee (whom the Lagos people generally call “Aguda”, just as they call the Lagos Sierra Leonean returnees “Saro”). This Aguda Grandee was His Excellency, Manoel Alves de Lima. He became the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Oba Osemwende of Benin, to the Court of the Republic of Brazil, in the Capital Bahia.
It was only after this Recognition, extended by Benin to Brazil, that other European countries like Britain and France, and then Portugal herself, extended their own Diplomatic Recognition to the new Latin American Country.
Great Benin country has always had so much influence on world affairs at the International level in ages past whereas it’s neighbors where still Bush savages in the era and time the Benin people had sway in matters of world affairs.

The Oba of Benin, Omo N'Oba N'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, HRM Ewuare II, is a most revered monarch to the Bini and Itsekiri people, from where the first Olu of Warri, Ogiame Iginuwa, came from. I am not sure it is perhaps impossible for those not in the know to understand how we respect the Oba of Benin. We would not even dare to speak to him unless he first speaks to us.
You may or may not agree with what he said, but to insult him is unacceptable.
That you do not understand or appreciate authority and are shallow, having nothing you hallow, does not give you the right to refer to HRM Ewuare II in such irreverent terms. You may not respect authority where you come from, but we do. Oh yes, we do!
You need to learn your history, and do not provoke me and others to tell you your history at our hands. Those days are gone, but our respect for the Oba of Benin has not gone and is not going away.
I am not for or against what HRM Ewuare II said. I am just for HRM Ewuare II.
We do not say you should agree with him. But even if you must disagree, do so with the utmost respect. This is not some warrant chief created by the British. This is the scion of a dynasty that created the greatest civilisation in Black Africa. Show some respect!
