Last night, the truth, the facts, the full horror of Brexit was expertly collated and presented by Ros Atkins. For the economy, for business investment and for you, it's an unmitigated disaster. Here's a small clip, but you can watch his full show here - https://t.co/wYLBWrXdWT
We have a new Head of State put there by accident of birth and a new Prime Minister elected by 81,000 people, but thank god we left the undemocratic EU.
Britain has the dirtiest rivers and beaches in Europe, the most expensive energy and train fares in Europe, the most overcrowded prisons in Europe and the widest gap between rich and poor in Europe. Starting to wonder if these things are related.
@RishiSunak Moronic! The UK helped write and approved these laws. Now RS trying to get rid of them not on merit, but to score points with middle aged middle class white conservative members, and to dilute everyone's rights and protections! Conservative governments must be removed from power
Everyone's energy bill will go up by...wait for it...77% on October 1st. That is simply unthinkable. Millions will suffer, inflation will rise further, recession will come. Meanwhile, gas companies are reporting staggering profits. The government must put a stop to this nonsense!
@VeganDave@LeftieStats@OwenJones84@IpsosUK Thanks for taking the time to find these. However, 4 tweets from someone with 160 odd followers does not equate to dozens of tweets plus Guardian articles from someone with over 1M subscribers. The word of the day is proportionality.
@shaftoflame @Jimmy__the_gent @Femi_Sorry Apply D'Hondt in the same way we used to elect UK European MPs. Split the country into large regions (i.e SouthWest, NorthWest, Wales, Yorkshire & Humber, Scotland, etc) then apply the method. You then have MPs elected still representing their region
