المملكة المتحدة ترحب باستعادة سورية لحقوقها ومزاياها في منظمة حظر الأسلحة الكيميائية بموجب اتفاقية حظر الأسلحة الكيميائية. ونحن نشيد بالشعب السوري وبتفانيه للقضاء على الإرث الفظيع الذي تركه الأسد. المملكة المتحدة مستمرة في دعم الجهود الحيوية للمنظمة في سورية، بما في ذلك دعم عملها في سورية بمبلغ إضافي قدره 500,000 إسترليني، وبذلك يرتفع إجمالي مساهمتنا منذ سقوط الأسد إلى 3.5 مليون إسترليني.

The UK recognises this historic moment and welcomes the reinstatement of Syria’s rights and privileges to the @OPCW under the Chemical Weapons Convention. We pay tribute to the Syrian people and their dedication to eliminating Assad's awful legacy.

The @UN Security Council has unanimously renewed @UNDOF's mandate for six months.

The UN Disengagement of Forces Agreement remains critical for the stability of Syria and the wider region.

We urge Israel to resume negotiations with Syria and to pursue a diplomatic solution.
