Anyone have full resolution pic of the felled tree that they'd be willing to let me use in a reprint of our Hadrian's Wall Path guidebook we're about to reprint to show the dreadful contrast with the pic of the original? #SycamoreGap#sycamoregaptree#sycamoregaptree

The wild westerly parts of #Egypt's Red Sea Mountain Trail, in Jebel Gattar. Jebel Gattar is one of the highest peaks of mainland Egypt, looking out over the Red Sea to #Sinai & the other way to the tablelands of the #Nile. Superb short vid by hiker Stu Skinner 🐪🏔️⭐️
Special mention too for @thetravellinghe and his @UKTrailblazer Hadrian's Wall book, which never left my hand throughout the journey - I heartily recommend it to anyone planning to walk the trail 👍
Advance copies of the new Pennine Way (sixth edition), updated by @bradley_mayhew arrived today and we're able to offer a few on the website in advance of the 26th May publication date:

Great photos @JohnMTippetts just itching to get back onto the #ThamesPath 😊🥾🥾😊
Lovely to see the source of the River Thames and the start of the National Trail with water from the Cotswolds aquifer, with many springs through which water pours into the rivers.
