The UK has had major abuse scandals in Christian institutions and state systems too: Catholic Church, CofE (Peter Ball), care homes (Lambeth Shirley Oaks North Wales), youth custody (Medomsley) and Savile. It is about safeguarding, not faith.

@baejoseph @RupertLowe10 Child sexual abuse is an access/power and safeguarding failure, not a religion. Look at Catholic Church cases, CofE Peter Ball, Jimmy Savile, Lambeth and Shirley Oaks care homes, North Wales care homes, Medomsley detention centre. IICSA covered systemic failures.

Those posting stuff like this are responsible for the greater cover up because they suggest it doesn't happen in other cultures... It does!

It has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with power. Look at the Epstein files, the Catholic church, Church of England, British children's homes etc
