@UNADAPorg
I was deeply honored to have the European Presidential Book Launch of my work, Climate Changed: Global Warming to Global Boiling, held at the United Nations Office in Geneva, at an event graciously hosted by the Italian delegation of Organizzazione per i Diritti Umani e la Tolleranza, distinguished advocates of human rights and tolerance.
The book was very well received, particularly as it stands out as the only technical book on climate change that also includes a dedicated chapter on faith, integrating ethical and moral reflection with scientific analysis. The book was endorsed by world leaders and formally released at COP28 in Dubai, affirming its global relevance.
I was also pleased to present a copy of the book to the library of the @genevadiplomacy Geneva Of Diplomacy (GSD), received by its erudite member of the Board, Dr Rakesh Krishnan. GSD is a premier institution in Geneva, Switzerland, committed to shaping future diplomats and global leaders.
I am deeply grateful to my dear friend Chris Carr, CEO of Steeltex and Kristine Carr, whose support and belief in this work made the publication of this book possible.
Dr. Dominic F. Dixon, Executive Director of UNADAP , delivered a powerful and moving address at the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland, during the Assembly marking the 77th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
In his speech to global Human Rights Ambassadors, Dr. Dixon spoke on the growing challenge of religious intolerance and the responsibility of societies to safeguard harmony and peaceful coexistence. He highlighted how actions by fringe elements can undermine national unity, social cohesion, and shared democratic values.
As an example of religious intolerance faced by minorities who serve the nation with excellence, he referenced Indian women’s cricket player Jemimah Rodrigues, drawing attention to the lived realities of discrimination despite national contribution.
He also quoted the Holy Bible, Proverbs 14:34 — “Righteousness exalts a nation”, emphasising that a nation’s true strength lies in justice, moral courage, and respect for human dignity.
This address calls for a renewed global commitment to peace, tolerance, and the protection of fundamental human rights.

“SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE” North-East Edition
This edition is dedicated to the North-East region of India, comprising the seven sisters—Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura—along with the one brother, Sikkim. This region has faced great adversity and carries deep wounds. Our mission is to bring not just physical restoration but to guide this land through a deeper journey of healing, forgiveness, and reconciliation.
As we walk this path, we are reminded of the words from Psalm 34:18:
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
Through this journey of restoration, we aim to elevate the spirit of these lands, turning pain into strength and division into unity. This is more than rebuilding; it is a higher call toward transformation and lasting peace.

INTERVIEW: THE PROFESSIONALS PULSE
TOPIC: Bridging the Gap Between Renewable Energy Technology and Global Policy
Watch interview:
https://t.co/m0JICKk1gN
In a compelling episode of The Professionals Pulse, Dr. Dominic F Dixon was interviewed by Farida Musaddi, CEO of Al Fateh Technologies, Dubai, on the critical topic of "Bridging the Gap Between Renewable Energy Technology and Global Policy."
Dr. Dixon, renowned globally for his climate forecasts impacting countries like Canada, India, the UAE, and the United States, has been a trusted advisor to world leaders and governments.
In this podcast, which aired on August 24th, 2024, Dr. Dixon made a chilling prediction about an imminent climate disaster in Bangladesh, forecasting severe flooding that could result in 'climate refugees.' Just a day later, his prediction tragically came true, as the Cumilla District of Bangladesh was struck by an unprecedented flood, affecting over five million people.
Tune in as Dr. Dixon breaks his silence on the urgent measures needed, the policies at stake, and the bureaucratic hurdles posed by lobbyists and governmental inertia. He also delves into the UNFCCC's focus on loss and damage, emphasizing that developed nations, responsible for much of the planet's pollution, must now compensate developing countries. Dr. Dixon strongly advocates for Bangladesh to be prioritized for compensation as an act of goodwill. Don't miss this eye-opening discussion!

**Seminar on Mobile and Pornography Addictions in the New Digital World**
Organized by the Salesian Psychological Association and UNADAP, this seminar brought together medical practitioners, psychologists, college principals, civil society leaders, and more. Originally planned as an intimate pilot session for 20-25 delegates, we were pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming interest, with 65 participants joining us from across India.
Due to my commitments in Canada, I delivered my presentation via video conference.
Our next step is to launch India's first-ever 'Recovery Centre' for individuals struggling with pornography addiction. The centre will utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Neuroplasticity techniques for effective treatment.
