My @UNOPS colleagues are continuing to deliver fuel across #Gaza, reaching the north this morning. Fuel is vital: without it, water can't be desalinated, hospitals lose power, bakeries stop. This is the lifeline for survival.

Karuna Herrmann, Director of UNOPS Jerusalem, told @BBCNews that only a third of needed fuel is entering Gaza.

"If fuel runs out, the consequences are severe and immediate."

Water plants shut down, newborns die, sewage floods the streets.

For the first time since the ceasefire, @UNOPS has been able to bring fuel into #Gaza. 150k litres over 2 days.

A critical step, but still just one-third of what’s needed daily.

Humanitarian operations remain at risk without sustained and sufficient fuel access.
