Many of you have told me you're interested in using your mistakes to help you evolve, so I'm sharing my principles for learning from mistakes here. #principleoftheday
It seems to me that the personal evolutionary process takes place in five distinct steps. If you can do those five things well, you will almost certainly be successful.

The more you know, the more you realize how much you don’t know. The less you know, the more you think you know everything. Knowledge is humbling. Ignorance is arrogant.
@noahsloss R u serious 🧐?! Denying kids access to algebra in middle school closes racial gaps?!
Do you understand these kids need to compete for college admission against other kids in other cities in CA? How does that serve SF public school kids?
Can you see the bigger picture at play?
@ATLNativStepson @sfguardians This is the dumbest comment ever. SF moving algebra to 9th grade doesn’t stop 🛑any other city in CA from doing the same thing. So kids in South Bay and Southern California get to learn Algebra in middle school and have better chance of getting into top rated colleges.

The same people holding guns illegally are often the same people doing the bulk of the crime. This is true as you see any repeat offenders rap sheet...oftentimes it's riddled with crimes of all sorts.
These are antisocial people who are unable to function in civilized society and should be kept away as a result for the benefit of society and maintain order.
This isn't hard... though it seems a foreign concept to MANY politicians in places like Chicago, LA, NYC, Philadelphia, etc
"We have urged the City to find solutions to the key issues and lack of enforcement against rampant criminal activity"
We know what's preventing a downtown recovery: we legalized crime. No more studies, it's time for action. https://t.co/HOUVejCxO0
