WHO-FIC MID YEAR MEETING AND DORIS WORKSHOP

The University of Rwanda's Centre of Excellence for Biomedical Engineering and eHealth today was officially designated as a WHO collaborating centre for the family of international classifications! The centre will be led by both the MoH and UR.

This WHO collaborating centre will help to advance the development, revision, and implementation of WHO Classifications ( ICD, ICHI, and ICF)

Yesterday, @EacRceVihscm, together with @UR_CEBE, were delighted to receive a delegation from the United Republic of Tanzania (URT) who are in #Rwanda for a national consultation mission. Delighted to receive a team of researchers who visited us to discuss potential areas of collaboration in Biomedical engineering and e-health. They were impressed by the newly acquired equipement for training.

Going on now: The first phase of a 3 week-training of trainers in 3D printing. Participants are rehabilitation professionals selected from health facilities in #Rwanda. This training is co-organized with Humanity & Inclusion. @Uni_Rwanda

#Happeningnow: 35 students who specialized in Health Informatics and qualified for graduation are being trained on writing publishable manuscripts for both Conference and Journals and identify relevant Scopus Journals and Conferences. @Uni_Rwanda
