@mikelikessports Because we Americans are for capitalism and free markets when it comes to things like taxes, healthcare for poor people, and minimum wages for working class folks. Socialism is only cool for *checks notes* billionaire sports team owners buying players to win and make more money.
@jaqen05@ClayTravis Duh. Wake up. We’re for capitalism and free markets when it comes to things like taxes, healthcare for poor people, and minimum wages for working class folks. Socialism is only cool for *checks notes* billionaire sports team owners buying players to win and make more money.

@tedlieu@TheJusticeDept@DAGToddBlanche This just a way for trump to not pay the remainder of an invoice to another contractor (who was corruptly awarded a no-bid contract,
probably to write off a payable due at one of his properties). I’m sure he has a 2nd pool guy who will charge twice as much to fix the amateur work
@Mrichphoto@jaysonst Sure, he was looking at Varsho. The verbal strike call came through fine on tv, the hand signal was a bit late, but it’s still on Bo. If he’s standing on the base and it turns out it actually was a ball, he can crab walk to 2nd. It was a bad call 100% but the mistake is 100% Bo’s
@podsox19@coacheric26@jaysonst Most runners don’t wander off the base at their own leisure and discretion when the home plate umpire makes a bad strike call.
@Mrichphoto@jaysonst Even so, Bichette can’t just wander off the bag because he decided it was a ball. Umpires missed a ball-strike call in every MLB game played this year, yet I don’t recall any runners getting picked off because they’re paying attention and not making assumptions.
@coacheric26@jaysonst Umpires missed a ball-strike call in every major league game played this year. I don’t recall a runner getting picked off because of it. Bichette can’t just wander off the bag because he decided it was a ball. Can’t make that bonehead play in the World Series. It’s unacceptable.
@KamBrothers Ok but maybe they’re just letting him pitch in a “driving through in-n-out to get your senior citizen dog a hamburger on the way to the ‘vet’” kind of way?
