@tigert@rainisto@venturetwins Has nothing to do with training data.
Try asking "Tell me about the historian Davud Mayer."
Still fails. The block is hard-coded.
@liang_malcolm@rainisto@venturetwins I tried asking about the historian. Still didn't work.
Chatgpt appears to be hard-coded to fail when outputting the string "David Mayer" no matter what the context.
@DonaldJTrumpJr It all needs to be tied together with an initial congressional hearing concerning government abuse of power in general. Bring in the victims. From that smaller hearings need to be had covering all the specifics. Manipulation of social media. The Russia hoax. Political prisoners..
I’ve listened to most of the Mark Andreesen podcast with Rogan. It’s interesting and compelling. Truth be told I didn’t hear anything I didn’t already know, mostly from being on X/Twitter.
This is an important point. Guys like Andreeson are on here, reading things. You can be an anon account, and have influence through network effects with your ideas. So this isn’t all pointless. Ideas you have, if they’re good, can spread - and guys with enormous platforms can make them relevant.
@SaveStandard@ICannot_Enough Maybe it's time to switch tactics and discuss modifying timezones.
After all, permanent DST is essentially turning the Eastern TZ into the Atlantic TZ, central into Eastern, etc.
Maybe the zones' boundaries should be adjusted instead.
Florida was in central TZ at one point.
@BalthazarGrimm@pmarca Oh, and progressives have a strong sense of superiority, even when dealing with those that accomplish the near impossible.
In their view people like Elon Musk are "mere" businessmen or merchants.
Marc Andreessen just shocked the world on JRE.
He revealed the government is:
• Kicking people off banking networks
• Using NGOs to do their dirty work
• Secretly trying to control AI
I took a day to digest it all...
And these are the 11 things I can't stop thinking about:
@captivedreamer7@MarioNawfal I remember these transfer students in college. Most were complete frauds.
The worst part? They cheated with the consent of some of the Indian faculty.
@wil_da_beast630 I'm not a religious person, but this comes to mind:
Psalms 7
14 Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity;
Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood.
15 He made a pit and dug it out,
And has fallen into the ditch which he made.
@burrhhh Obsession maybe? Just loved to learn as much about as much as I could.
I can tell you what not to do: you should not ignore your personal and social foundations. You need a certain feeling of security. Fear short-circuits thinking.
North Korea jailed a man for taking part in a protest and he killed himself in jail.
His funeral was today, he was a father and a grandfather.
Sorry that was the UK Labour Party.
@Mike8299@SamWest_7@Fat_Electrician Using his argument he'd say the plutonium in Fat Man wasn't really all that important because it only amounted to less than 2% the mass of the entire bomb.
@SamWest_7@Fat_Electrician How valuable to the Soviet effort was that 5%?
USA and the British provided 55% of all aluminum the Soviet Union used during the war and more than 80% of the copper. Lend-Lease also sent aviation fuel equivalent to 57 percent of what the Soviet Union itself produced.
Critical.
