UTRGV President Guy Bailey has appointed @DrSaygin as Interim Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, effective May 18, 2026.
Saygin will continue serving as Senior Vice President for Research and Dean of the Graduate College during this interim appointment.
Dr. Saygin joined UTRGV in 2022 as Senior Vice President for Research and Dean of the Graduate College and has helped lead significant progress in research growth, graduate education and faculty support.
