Uber doesn’t want you to know how much money they’re taking on every ride.
Sometimes the company takes over half the money you send in.
That leaves drivers struggling to pay their bills – struggling to survive.
@notaveryh @Uber The driver cancels because Uber takes up 80% of the fare, the $5 cancellation fee is not for us, ia for Uber. We only get a cancellation fee if we wait outside your place for 5 min. The app uses geolocation, so if driver does not show up and wait, gets zero $0
@AShiraInMyHeart @Uber All drivers are independent contractors, uber takes up 80% of the fares and the drivers prefer cancel.
PLEASE NOTE, the money you pay is not for a ride, is for using the app that connects you to a driver that us willing to work for cheap.

Uber is taking 50-65% of the fares, the drivers may think your ride us unprofitable, considere using "reserve", reserve rides pays about $10 extra to drivers. Use reserve specially if your uber rating is below average 4.85. If rating is low drivers think you no tip.
@Uber_Support Drivers do not turn up. Waiting time too long. Made me wait for one and half an force me to pay cancellation charges inspite of your fault.
@hotstuff_gold ZERO, we we cancel a ride we get zero pay, and if they no show up waiting for you to cancel we get ZERO too, money is for Uber, the only case we get $4 is when we are outside your door for 5 minutes, App detects our geolocation to determine if we get pay or no.
@amobisays@Uber UBER IS TAKING UP 80% OF THE FARES IN AIRPORT TRIPS, after driver check prices we feel demoralized, then we enter in shock and then cancel trips just to take a brake thinking what we will do to feed our families with low pay.
@UrRainness@Uber_Support When you put stops before order a ride, the drivers can see them before accept the rude, and they know the trip has stops, ride will be smooth, but adding stips once you are in the car, you no know if driver is going home/brake/restroom, etc. ****Mutual Agreement***
@UrRainness@Uber_Support Adding stops before request a ride is fine, but
Adding stops after you enter to the car is rude and is not guaranteed, you should always ask before addung stops, we get pay very low, all added stops must be by MUTUAL AGGREMENT, or you may be kicked out and receive worst rating.
